  • Culinary Tours of the Pines

    • Culinary Tours of the Pines provides walking culinary tasting tours in the Village of Pinehurst.
    • Included in the tour will be stops at The Deuce, the new signature restaurant that overlooks Pinehurst Course No. 2; The Holly Tavern; The 1895 Room; and The Carolina Hotel.
    • At each location guests will be served a specialty small plate accompanied by a craft beer sampling.
    • In addition, your culinary experience will be enhanced with a stop at The Village Wine Shop, a boutique wine shop located in The Village.
    • The afternoon will end with a sampling of locally baked scones from PineScones, a well-known local gourmet bakery.

    • At Malcolm Blue Farm Day, you will enjoy artisan work of all kinds, such as blacksmithing, pine needle basket weaving, quilting, bees making honey, wood carving, cloggers, storytelling, potters, and many more.
    • Children can pet the farm animals, gem mine, and ride on a pony.
    • Come sample homemade foods in the farmhouse kitchen and ride in a horse drawn wagon.
    • There will be BBQ, beer, homemade lemonade, funnel cakes, ice cream and much more!

  • The Wellsongs Concert

    • The Wellsongs concert is a concert of 12 original songs written by NYC musician Brett Boles about and for Sandhills children with special needs and their families who were interviewed.
    • Created by Dr. Michael Pizzi, Sandhills occupational therapist and actor/singer, this project brings the gift of music and gives voice to those who are voiceless.
    • Local and NYC singers will perform the songs and the event is FREE to the first 250 people who email him at sandhillsbroadway@gmail.com.
