  • Culinary Tours of the Pines

    • Culinary Tours of the Pines provides walking culinary tasting tours in the Village of Pinehurst.
    • Included in the tour will be stops at The Deuce, the new signature restaurant that overlooks Pinehurst Course No. 2; The Holly Tavern; The 1895 Room; and The Carolina Hotel.
    • At each location guests will be served a specialty small plate accompanied by a craft beer sampling.
    • In addition, your culinary experience will be enhanced with a stop at The Village Wine Shop, a boutique wine shop located in The Village.
    • The afternoon will end with a sampling of locally baked scones from PineScones, a well-known local gourmet bakery.

    • Cúrate Cookbook-inspired Dinner Reception
    • Taking inspiration from Chef Katie Button’s Cúrate cookbook, Pinehurst’s acclaimed culinary team will kick off our final Chef & Maker weekend with a delectable menu featuring the vibrant flavors of Spain.
    • Enjoy the evening by visiting each of the live food stations while viewing local pottery, discovering great wine, beer and spirits and listening to live music.
    • Wine will be provided by the Country Vintner of North Carolina. We will also be serving beer from Southern Pines Brewing Company and Mother Earth Brewing, spirits from Doc Porter’s Distillery and Piedmont Distillers as well as coffee cocktail from Counter Culture Coffee.

    • The Annual All-Breed Dog Show will be held all-day at the Pinehurst Harness Track Polo Field.
    • Moore County Kennel Club (MCKC) is a non-profit corporation for the purpose of protecting and advancing the interests of pure bred dogs.
    • As an all-breed dog club licensed by the American Kennel Club, MCKC sponsors dog shows and other related canine events under the rules and regulations of the AKC.

    • The Sandhills American Legion Riders Chapter 72 is doing a Bike Shop Hop Poker Run on September 16th in honor of National POW/MIA recognition day.
    • Registration begins at 9:00a.m. Kickstands up at 10 am
    • Poker Hand cost is $15 single hand, 3 hands for $25, which includes a lunch ticket. Lunch is a roast beef sandwich, chips, coleslaw and a drink.
    • Poker Run prizes: Best hand $250 cash, worst hand $50 cash. We will also have a 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction, and door prizes.

    • Artists will be spread throughout the Village showing and demonstrating their works. It is a great opportunity to enjoy a lovely evening in the Village, Shop at our beautiful boutique locations and see first-hand a diverse selection of the wonderful artists that reside in our area.
