    • Experience the Home of American Golf on a guided windshield tour with Kirk Tours and learn about Mr. Tufts and some of Pinehurst’s celebrity patrons.

  • Culinary Tours of the Pines

    • Culinary Tours of the Pines provides walking culinary tasting tours in the Village of Pinehurst.
    • Included in the tour will be stops at The Deuce, the new signature restaurant that overlooks Pinehurst Course No. 2; The Holly Tavern; The 1895 Room; and The Carolina Hotel.
    • At each location guests will be served a specialty small plate accompanied by a craft beer sampling.
    • In addition, your culinary experience will be enhanced with a stop at The Village Wine Shop, a boutique wine shop located in The Village.
    • The afternoon will end with a sampling of locally baked scones from PineScones, a well-known local gourmet bakery.

    • You’ll complete an activity-filled brochure along the way, and then you can log your journey online to earn prizes.

    • Please join The Country Bookshop for an event/luncheon at The Country Club of North Carolina.
    • The event includes a luncheon and talk by Dr. Jennifer Ritterhouse author of Discovering the South: One Man’s Travels Through a Changing America in the 1930s.
    • She will talk about her research into Jonathan Daniels and his discoveries of the South.
    • Tickets are $25 and are for sale online or at The Country Bookshop.
    • Books will be available at the luncheon and the author will autograph copies following her presentation.
