  • History of Pinehurst Tour

    • Experience the Home of American Golf on a guided windshield tour with Kirk Tours and learn about Mr. Tufts and some of Pinehurst’s celebrity patrons.
    • Cost: $20/person.
    • Tours last aproximately 75 minutes.

  • Culinary Tours of the Pines

    • Culinary Tours of the Pines provides walking culinary tasting tours in the Village of Pinehurst.
    • Included in the tour will be stops at The Deuce, the new signature restaurant that overlooks Pinehurst Course No. 2; The Holly Tavern; The 1895 Room; and The Carolina Hotel.
    • At each location guests will be served a specialty small plate accompanied by a craft beer sampling.
    • In addition, your culinary experience will be enhanced with a stop at The Village Wine Shop, a boutique wine shop located in The Village.
    • The afternoon will end with a sampling of locally baked scones from PineScones, a well-known local gourmet bakery.

  • Pinehurst Live After 5

    • Pinehurst welcomes the return of The Legacy and their amazing Motown tribute to one the most influential periods of American music history.
    • “The Legacy” takes you back to the days of The Drifters, The Coasters, The Jacksons, Earth Wind & Fire, The Temptations, and many more legendary icons!
    • Food trucks will be on-site with a great selection of sandwiches and desserts.
    • Beer, wine, water, and soft drinks will also be available for purchase.
    • Picnic baskets are allowed; however, outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

    • AARP-trained volunteers are available at the library all month to assist with tax returns, free of charge.
    • You must come in person—no appointments given by phone.

    • The market features many wonderful farms, nurseries, bakeries, meat and egg providers, cheesemakers and specialty food producers our area has to offer.
    • Market runs twice weekly (Wednesday and Saturday) through September 30th.

  • Healthy Kids Running Series

    • The Healthy Kids Running Series is a five week running program for kids from Pre-K ages 2-14
    • Each Race Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events including the 50 yard dash, the 75 yard dash, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the one mile run.
    • Kids compete each week of the Series for a chance to earn points and at the end of the Series the top 3 boys and top 3 girls with the most points in their respective age division receive a trophy.
    • It doesn’t matter how fast or slow you run because all participants receive a medal and gift bag for their achievements courtesy of our sponsors!
