    • Over 200 decorated Christmas Tress of all sizes and colors, wreaths, gift baskets and much more await you at this years Festival of Trees!
    • This event is for Sandhill’s Children’s Center and all proceeds go directly to them.

  • Weymouth Woods Nature Study

    • “Fall Frolic (for Wee Ones!)”
    • Come explore the wonders of this season with Ranger Nancy as we read a book, hit the trails, and make a fall craft.
    • Activities geared towards 3-to-5 year olds and meant for parents to participate

  • Hackensaw Boys Evening of Bluegrass

    • The Hackensaw Boys’ spirited, rowdy show features old favorites and new tunes from Charismo.
    • Traditional Appalachian and Delta music injected with a heavy dose of a contemporary, good-times-roll kind of spit and vinegar.

  • Family Day at the Library

    • Explore mindfulness for kids.
    • Craft tables set out all day, the special event “Kids Yoga” starts at 11 a.m.
    • Families can make meditation jars during a Maker session at 2 p.m.
    • Teens are invited to learn about Zentangling at 3 p.m.

  • Pinehurst Turkey Trot

    • Runners get the chance to trek through the streets and residential neighborhoods of the village of Pinehurst at the Turkey Trot half marathon, 10K, 5K and one-mile race.
    • Registration pricing varies.

    • The Sandhills Central Model Railroad Club presents its 34th annual Train Show.
