  • Culinary Tours of the Pines

    • Culinary Tours of the Pines provides walking culinary tasting tours in the Village of Pinehurst.
    • Included in the tour will be stops at The Deuce, the new signature restaurant that overlooks Pinehurst Course No. 2; The Holly Tavern; The 1895 Room; and The Carolina Hotel.
    • At each location guests will be served a specialty small plate accompanied by a craft beer sampling.
    • In addition, your culinary experience will be enhanced with a stop at The Village Wine Shop, a boutique wine shop located in The Village.
    • The afternoon will end with a sampling of locally baked scones from PineScones, a well-known local gourmet bakery.

  • Fall Festival

    • The Pinehurst Parks & Recreation Department is proud to sponsor this annual fundraising event for Pinehurst Elementary School which includes games with prizes, face painting, a train ride, bounce houses, a costume contest and more!
    • Activity wristbands will be sold by the Pinehurst Elementary School PTA for $12.00.
    • 5 – 8 pm at Cannon Park, 90 Woods Rd, Pinehurst.
  • Corn Craze Maze

    • Visit a corn maze and take a hay ride.
    • The play area, with a corn jump, mini maze, barrel rides, super slide, and pirate ship, is $8.

  • Oktoberfest

    • The day kicks off with Kinderfest, a fun festival for children, with lots to see and do for the whole family.
    • There will be carnival games, entertainment from the Bavarian Brass Band, and contests from 1-5 pm.
    • The fun continues in the evening for adults from 6-9 pm with a traditional Oktoberfest featuring German music from the Holzhackern Tyrolean band, folk dancing, the second annual Pumpkin-Apple Baking Contest, and an Oktoberfest Games Arena.
    • Food and beverages will be available to purchase throughout the day including brats, sauerkraut, pretzels, hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches, soda, beer and wine.

  • Sycamore Lodge Haunted Forest

    • What’s waiting for you in the forest?
    • A guided tour through the Haunted Forest with 8 Spook Houses and graveyard.
    • This is an all volunteer event. 100% of the proceeds are donated to the Lymphoma Society. Make a difference and have a spooktacular time!

  • An Evening of Patriotism

    • A Stroke of Patriotism, in support of our veterans, presents An Evening of Patriotic Expression featuring over 50 paintings from the 2017 Patriotic Expressions art contest.
    • The event promises to be fun-filled, with beer, wine, food trucks, music and dancing, all while voting for your favorite paintings and bidding in the silent auction.
    • The event will feature a color guard from the Sandhills Detachment of the Marine Corps League, a barbershop quartet from The Golf Capital Chorus, and emcee Bill Freeman, local DJ and radio personality.
    • The Painting of the Year and other awards will be announced at the end of the evening, with the winning artist receiving $2500.
