  • Create a Pollinator Paradise

    • At this informative program, sponsored by the Sandhills Horticultural Society and Sandhills Council of Garden Clubs, North Carolina Cooperative Extension Agent Debbie Roos will share valuable information to help homeowners create an environment in their own yards and gardens to support our valuable pollinators.
    • Also of interest to attendees will be a virtual tour of Debbie’s demonstration pollinator garden in Pittsboro.

  • Culinary Tours of the Pines

    • Culinary Tours of the Pines provides walking culinary tasting tours in the Village of Pinehurst.
    • Included in the tour will be stops at The Deuce, the new signature restaurant that overlooks Pinehurst Course No. 2; The Holly Tavern; The 1895 Room; and The Carolina Hotel.
    • At each location guests will be served a specialty small plate accompanied by a craft beer sampling.
    • In addition, your culinary experience will be enhanced with a stop at The Village Wine Shop, a boutique wine shop located in The Village.
    • The afternoon will end with a sampling of locally baked scones from PineScones, a well-known local gourmet bakery.

    • Visit a corn maze and take a hay ride.
    • The play area, with a corn jump, mini maze, barrel rides, super slide, and pirate ship, is $8.

    • Beloved TV favorite Don Most (Happy Days, Glee) and two-time Emmy winner Robert Wuhl (Arli$$, Bull Durham, Batman) come to the Sandhills to star in Judson Theatre Company’s uproarious production of Neil Simon’s comedy classic The Sunshine Boys!
    • Al and Willie as “Lewis and Clark” were top-billed vaudevillians for decades…but now they aren’t even speaking! When CBS requests they reunite for a “History of Comedy” television special, the sparks and one-liners start to fly with equal speed. But can Lewis and Clark put aside their differences long enough to collect one last paycheck?

  • Holly Arts & Crafts Festival

    • The annual Holly Arts & Crafts Festival combines the talents of over 100 hand-crafters in a variety of genres – from woodworking to glass, stitched art to lawn ornaments, hand-crafted jewelry to metal sculpture.
    • Downtown shops offer sales and specials and a food court will have a variety of offerings.
    • This event is produced and sponsored by the Pinehurst Business Partners.
    • Given Tufts is sponsoring a Kid Zone during the Holly Arts and Crafts Festival.
    • Come to the Village Green for arts and crafts activities brough to you by local businesses. (There may be some cost for some activities)

  • STEAM Saturday

    • Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math
    • Experiment and craft tables will be out all day.
    • A Spooky, Slimy Science event will take place from 11 am to Noon.

    • Join us at Aberdeen Lake Park for fun carnival games, inflatables and a climbing wall.
    • This event is for children ages 15 and under, and the cost of $5 per child gets the kids on all games, inflatables, and climbing wall.
    • There will be food truck vendors and ice cream.
    • We encourage everyone to put on their best costume and join us for the fun!

  • Wild Game Dinner – Celebrating Argentina

    • This dinner will celebrate the heritage of the La Pampa province with a four-course meal showcasing the diverse flavors and agricultural products that are abundant in the country.
    • One of the best-known cultural symbols of Argentina, the gaucho is a rough, tough, free-riding horseman of the pampa and proud cousin of the North American cowboy. A prominent cattle-producing region, the pampa boasts vast, open pastures managed by modern-day gauchos who produce some of the best grass-fed beef in the world.
