I am an independent broker. What does that have to do with selling your house? I have many conversations with my fellow brokers about whether being independent helps or hurts the seller’s possibility of getting their home sold.
After reading many blogs about seller tips, I don’t believe going with a large firm has ever come up (at least not in print that I have seen). Three things seem to be in most of the advise to sellers:
- Price your home correctly, location of course is primary to pricing.
- Have the home prepared or staged. Nice curb appeal, clean and uncluttered inside.
- Good marketing, and in todays market, internet, internet, internet.
