4th Annual Celebration of the Seagrove Potters 2011 begins with a reception Friday, Nov. 18 with a gala from 6:00-9:00 just of short distance from the Pinehurst area.
Many who come to the Pinehurst area are unaware of the vast pottery country just a short drive away. Seagrove is an area northwest of Pinehurst that hosts an annual Celebration to show, sell and exhibit the pottery and has demonstrations on how the pottery is made. The gala is Friday, November 18th from 6-9 and admission is $40. For tickets go to celebrationofseagrovepotters.com.
The show will be open Saturday, November 19th from 9-6 with a silent auction from 1-3 and Sunday, November 20 from 10-4. The location is at Luck’s Cannery, 798 Pottery Highway NC -705 in Seagrove. The entrance fee is $5.
If you can’t make this weekend’s event then you can always drive through the Pottery Highway and visit the individual potters as most are open 5 or 6 days a week.
