Good news for the Pinehurst area’s Real Estate sales as we have had 3 months in a row of increased gross home sales over the same months in 2011.
Even better than an increase in gross home sales is the monthly increases in the number of homes sold in the Pinehurst area real estate market for all but one month in 2012 over the same months in 2011.
This is a good sign that the Pinehurst area real estate market is beginning to improve. The average price of homes sold is still fluctuating month to month – but this is most likely due to the still high levels of inventory. Also, each neighborhood in the Pinehurst area is going to see different results in pricing depending on the average price in the neighborhood and the number of homes available in that same neighborhood.
With prices still low and mortgage rates still at historically low levels – this could be the best time to think about purchasing that Pinehurst area home. As inventories decrease and the number of homes sold each month increase – we will eventually see prices start to go up.
